Volunteer teacher for Meet the Masters art workshop
First time teaching art, to my kids' first- and fourth-grade classes. Here's some of the kids' artwork. We were learning about Frieda Kahlo and studied about "self-portrait", "still life", "overlapping" and "texture".
Life Cycle of a Pumpkin poster
My son's first grade teacher asked if I can make a poster for her class. I used tempera paint and black Sharpie.

New Painting Commission: Seascape
First Pass--
Second Pass--
Worked on a second pass on the coastal land. Next, will be a third pass on the clouds (white) and the sunset. Then, a second pass on the background waves.
After that, I'll start painting the foreground waves and put a few more passes on the whole thing to refine it.

This is an unfinished landscape oil painting I did this morning at the Temecula Wine Country. It's my first Plein Air Painting (outdoor, on location). [3 hour workshop with instructor Richard Stergulz]
Whatcom Park Falls Painting
This is an unfinished landscape oil painting I did at the art workshop I attended taught by Richard Stergulz. [3 hour workshop] It's painted from a photo reference I took from my trip to Bellingham, WA last month.
